- (1/4/07): Check Homework Set #0 in the homework part
of the webpage! You are requested to send me an e-mail answering
several questions that will help me tailor the class to your
needs
and, hopefully, your likes.
- (2/23/07): The deadline for Hw#6 has been moved to Thursday March
1 in consideration of the Quantum Mechanics midterm that many students
have to take. However, DO NOT wait until Wednesday night to do the
homework. Take a look at it during the week-end and take advantage of
the office hours on Monday if you need help.
- (4/5/07): I encourage all of you to send me a pdf file with your
presentation (even if it is not 100%) ready at least 3 days before your
presentation so that I can give you some feedback before it is due.
Many of you are already doing this but I want to make sure that
everybody knows that it is encouraged.
- (4/17/07): There is/was an algebraic mistake in the last page of
lecture April 5. The two terms with cos^2 have positive sign so they do
not cancel. As a result instead of sin^2 we get (1+cos^2). I've
replaced this in the pdf file but, when I try to open the link I still
see the old file which for some reason regenerates itself although I
keep deleting it.
